We started TradeBetter because we kept meeting business owners who had built something good and were being buried by the running of it.
Dom does the building. Deborah brings the operations side, which is the half most automation people skip. Knowing how work moves through a business is the difference between an automation that helps and one that creates a new problem somewhere else.
Between us there are three young children, so "time is precious" is not a line we use in marketing. It is the reason the business exists.
How we work.
We do not sell software
We do not resell anything, we are not anyone's partner, and we take nothing from vendors. That means when we say a tool you already own will do the job, there is no reason for us to be saying it other than that it is true.
You own everything we build
It goes on your accounts, with your logins, and your data stays where it already is. There is no TradeBetter platform to log in to. If we stopped working together tomorrow, everything keeps running and somebody else could pick it up from the documentation.
We tell you where the edges are
Before you pay anything, the scope names the limits as clearly as it names the capability. We keep a public list of things we will not claim. That is unusual, but we think it matters that everyone is clear on where the edges are before any money changes hands.
Any industry, not just trades
The name says trade, and plenty of our thinking started there, but almost none of it is trade specific. A bookkeeper, an architect, an agency, an allied health practice or a real estate office has the same problem. Work comes in, gets typed into three places, and somebody stays back to catch up.
