The list is where we start, not where we stop.
Most builds combine things from the list with something made only for that business.
Things that only make sense for you.
Some of what a business needs is not on anybody's list, because it only exists in that business. Three shapes come up again and again:
A small internal system to replace a spreadsheet
Almost every business has one. The spreadsheet that three people edit, that nobody trusts, that broke when somebody sorted one column and not the others. It usually wants to be a proper little system with a form on the front and one version of the truth behind it.
A form or portal that feeds straight into how you work
Something a customer or a subcontractor fills in, that lands where it needs to land without anyone re-typing it. Onboarding, a request, a booking, a compliance document.
A report that combines two systems that do not talk
The numbers you want live in two places and there is no screen anywhere that shows both. So somebody exports, pastes, and makes a chart once a month, and it is always slightly out of date.
A CRM built around how you work.
A lot of owners have bought a CRM, spent a weekend setting it up, and quietly stopped opening it. Usually because it was designed for a sales team of twelve, and it wants fields filled in that have nothing to do with the actual job.
We build the version that matches how work really moves through your business, with the stages you use and nothing else. It connects to the systems you already have rather than asking you to move everything into it.
If a standard CRM would do the job, we will tell you to buy the standard CRM.
Your software, not ours.
We do not sell software and we will not move you off what you are on. If you are on Xero, we build to Xero. If your job system is the one you have used for ten years and know inside out, we build to that. If two systems cannot talk to each other, we are usually the thing in between.
If a platform has an API, there is a good chance we can work with it. If it does not, we will tell you that on the call rather than three weeks into a build.
Your software, talking to your other software.
Hundreds of platforms can be wired together so your information moves on its own. Ask us about yours.
What we do not do.
- Mobile apps.
- Your bookkeeping, or anything that counts as accounting or tax advice.
- Running your advertising.
- General IT support, networks or hardware.
Got something specific in mind?
Describe it on the call. If it is buildable we will scope it, and if it is not we will say so.
