What this will not do.
Most people selling automation only publish the good half. Here is the other half, before you ask for it.
Where automation is the wrong answer.
When the process itself is broken
Automating a bad process gives you a bad process that runs faster and without anyone watching. If the way something is done does not make sense, the fix is to change how it is done, not to computerise it. We will say so.
When your software already does it
Job management systems, accounting packages and CRMs all ship with features most owners never turn on. Recurring jobs, payment reminders and templates are the usual ones. If the thing you want is already sitting in a settings menu you have not opened, we will point at the menu rather than quote you for a build.
When it needs judgement
Anything where being wrong is expensive keeps a person in the loop. Pricing a variation, signing off a safety document, deciding whether a difficult customer gets a refund. Automation is very good at gathering everything up and putting it in front of you. It is not the thing that decides.
When the volume is not there
Some of what we build only pays for itself above a certain amount of work. If you send four quotes a month, an automated quote chaser is not the thing that changes your year. We would rather tell you that on the call than take the work.
Things we simply do not do.
- Mobile apps.
- Your bookkeeping, or anything that counts as accounting or tax advice.
- Running your advertising.
- General IT support, networks or hardware.
- Anything that interprets an award or files with the tax office.
- Selling you software. We do not resell anything and take nothing from vendors.
Still sound useful?
If the honest version has not put you off, it probably means it is a good fit. Tell us what your week looks like.
